2010 Olympics

Hello all, just finished watching the 2010 winter olympics, and the closing show was pretty disappointing. I'm not quite sure what would make an outstanding closing ceremony but I think more Lindsey Vonn wouldn't hurt. As for the games, one of my favorite parts had to be Shaun White winning Gold in the halfpipe on his first run, and then doing a second run throwing a "Double McTwist 1260" which is just a mind blowing move. A little dissappointment came from the USA's loss to Canada in men's ice hockey but hey it's their sport and their turf so all is well. My favorite part overall had to be any time that Lindsey Vonn was on the television. She's my olympic crush and I enjoyed the games much more cause she was in them. After all the talk about her injury she starts her olympic games with a gold medal only to fall short in other events and fall and injure herself some more. It really doesn't matter though because she could roll down the hill in Vancouver in every event and I'd still be a fan. I'm not sure but I think it's the beanie and snow goggles, who knows.

Snow, snow, and more snow!!!

Over two feet of snow and who's ready for more? I don't know about anyone else but I personally love the snow. The more the better! Its one of a few things that can pretty much shut down an entire area for a whole day, not to mention provide school cancellations and delays! Snow enjoyment is enhanced by having a dog. Playing with a dog in the snow is great fun and anyone who doesn't enjoy the snow needs to buy a dog and just have fun. You know you got a lot of snow on the roads when jobs start posting cancellations. I was stuck at work on Tuesday night till around 10:30pm so much for my boss caring about his second shift getting home safely. Driving home from work that late as the snow is just piling up made it much more easy to call off the next day. That didn't matter because the factory was actually shut down at around 11:30am. A long day of stirring chips turn to a long day of shoveling snow, but that's OK cause I have two dogs to play in the snow with one the size of a small horse (slight exaggeration there) and the other one third the height of the snow. The little dog tries to take on the snow more than the big dog does and boy is it funny. I ended up paying for the free day off in the middle of the week by having to work on Saturday but that's the way the cookie crumbles I guess. I here we are supposed to get more snow on Monday night into Tuesday morning and I even heard rumors about even more snow this weekend!! I say bring it on, bring it all on!

Creepy bubbles

Hello everyone, first off I was browsing around Facebook the other day and someone posted a link to this funny video, you have to check it out I think it's quite hilarious. YouTube - Creepy Bubbles Commercial
Ok, now about my week, I'm not sure if anyone saw, but I put on quite the Nancy Kerrigan show while walking to my car in the parking lot after class on Wednesday. I have no idea who put that ice there but it wasn't nice of them to put it right there in the middle of the lot. I know someone had to have seen it with that big glass wall on the side of the building and all. I was quite embarrased at the time but afterwards couldn't stop laughing when retelling the story. The rest of my week was pretty uneventfull consisting of work and sleep. I just finished watching the Grammy's and it was ok. I personally enjoyed Taylor Swift taking "Album of the Year" and the performance at the end by Drake, Lil' Wayne, and Eminem. My only question is "Where was Kanye West?" The song performed by Drake and crew usually has Kanye West in it. I guess since Taylor Swift was up against Beyoncé for a few awards he wasn't allowed in the building. He's got some great songs but he's still a jerk.
